I am happy to be your friend because I believe that the more diverse in thoughts and backgrounds that my friends are the better the person I will become and the more people understand each other the better the world will be.
I am glad that your country does not have the extreme climate that some of the others in your part of the world are recieving lately. It must be a real problem for them just trying to go about thier nomal lives,and for the homeless and such it must be very bad and life threatening. I have noticed that quite a few people, mainly homeless have already died.
Like you I also hope that the climate change that the world is going through will be fixed or at least moderated. I like the the way the world looks and would hate to see it change just because us humans think we are its masters and can do with it what we want.
In Australias short history we have cut down or cleared nearly ninety percent of our trees and now the farmers and others are wondering why their lands are becoming useless. Some have realized and are replanting trees on a large scale just to keep what they have got. So value your trees and plant lots more as they will help to keep your country beautiful. I am starting to sound like an ad for the greenies but it is something that I truely beleive.
You must have been in your late teens when your countries political system changed, I bet that was such a wonderful time and full of hope for the future but also tough with plenty of hard times but times that were free.
I will post a photo of myself on the site soon so you can put a face to the name, I have a few on my other computers hard drive but am having trouble with the mainboard so will have to swap it over to my new box. To give you an idea what I look like all I can say is that I am hairy, long blonde greying hair with a beard down to my nipples and a mo to match, I have tattoos on my arms and back and I look like a old hippy or a biker.

I noticed on the news that it is very cold in your area of the world at the momment. Where I am we are just about to have our second extended heat wave in the high thirties and low forties. I wouldnt mind swapping locations for a couple of days just for the relief. Dont get me wrong I like the heat but sometimes it just gets too hot for too long.
